Shopping Carts are gross
A Four State Study concluded that 72% of shipping carts have fecal bacteria on them. There is actually LESS fecal bacteria in the bathrooms at the store. There’s about 50% had e-coli on them
Suicide does not go up around Christmas.
Everyone has heard it a million times. People are so stressed that between Thanksgiving and Christmas the suicide rates skyrocket. However, that’s not true. According to the CDC National Center for Health Statistics, December is the LOWEST month out of the year. There is an annual peak each year, and it is always around the same time. But that time is in April.
96% of people survive plane crashes
Between 1983 and 2000, there were 53,487 people involved in plane crashes. 51,207 of those people survived. from 2000 through 2018 (which includes 9/11) it’s still holding at 95.7%
95% of Sushi is Mislabeled
Conservation group Oceana recently found that roughly a third if the time seafood sold in US markets and restaurants had been swapped for cheaper. The worst was sushi restaurants there out of the 118 visited, 95% of the fish fold was actually different from what the menu stated. Hamachi was incorrect in every single case.

Scientists dud a long-term study where they interviewed high school students, then tracked them down 35 years later. They found that the kids in the top 5th of popularity rankings earned more than 10% more than the ones who were in the bottom fifth

People love to joke around and say how most of the methane gas out there comes from cow farts. However cow farts aren’t a thing. They do emit methane but it comes from burping. Cows burp because they are ruminants, and burping is part of the digestive process.

NFL players aren’t the only ones who can take home a Super Bowl ring. Referees who have earned the honor of officiating the sport’s biggest annual game are also recognized with the coveted pieces of jewelry.
According to Fox Sports, “The officials get Super Bowl rings just like the players do. They aren’t as big as the players’ rings, but they are still valuable pieces of jewelry. These rings mean the world to the officials and they wear them with such pride.”
The Average American Woman Owns Seven Pairs of Jeans and Only Wears Four
According to a national poll featured in ShopSmart, the average American woman owns seven pairs of jeans. However, despite the fact that 85 percent of women typically wear jeans at least once a week, they only tend to wear four pairs on a regular basis.
